Temporary version. This notice is published while the website is being completed. A full policy, including an Armenian-language version, will replace it before launch.
Gohar Petrosyan Art Center (“the Art Center”, “we”, “us”) operates the website goharpetrosyan.am. We act as the personal data processor (controller) for the data described below, within the meaning of the Law of the Republic of Armenia On Protection of Personal Data (HO-49-N, adopted 18 May 2015).
We process personal data only for the purposes for which it was given: replying to enquiries, managing workshop reservations and shop orders, meeting our accounting and tax obligations, and keeping the website secure. Processing rests on your consent (Articles 9 and 10 of the Law), on the performance of a contract with you, or on a duty imposed by law. We observe the principles of lawfulness, proportionality, reliability and minimum engagement of subjects set out in Articles 4–7.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We disclose it only to the service providers who make the website and our orders work — hosting, payment processing and delivery — strictly to the extent necessary, and to state bodies where the law obliges us to. Where a provider is located outside the Republic of Armenia, any transfer is carried out in accordance with Article 27 of the Law.
Enquiries and reservation records are kept for no longer than one year after our last contact with you. Order and payment records are kept for the period required by Armenian accounting and tax legislation. All other data is kept until you withdraw your consent.
Under Article 15 of the Law you may ask us what personal data we hold about you, where it came from and how it is used, and you may require us to correct, block or destroy it. You may withdraw your consent at any time; unless we are required by law to retain the data, we will destroy it within ten working days (Article 21, part 6). You also have the right to complain to the Personal Data Protection Agency of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, the authorised body under Article 24 of the Law, or to apply to the courts.
The website uses cookies that are necessary for it to function, and — once the shop is open — cookies that remember your basket and your session. You may block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the website may then stop working correctly.
All photographs, video, artwork, workshop materials and text published on goharpetrosyan.am are our own or are used with the permission of their author, and are protected under the Law of the Republic of Armenia On Copyright and Related Rights (adopted 15 June 2006). They may not be copied, republished or used commercially without our prior written consent.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access, alteration and disclosure. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and you provide your data at your own risk.
We may update this policy as the website develops. The current version and the date of its last revision are always shown on this page.
For any question about this policy, or to exercise the rights described in section 6, please write to [contact@goharpetrosyan.am]. Our postal address and telephone number are given in the footer of this website.
