The pieces are already made and fired – plates, angels, fir trees, small houses. What you do is choose one and paint it. Colours are mixed at the table, the brushwork is yours, and nothing has to come out perfect.
You sit down with a piece, a brush and a tray of colours. Gohar shows you how paint behaves on fired clay – where it sinks in, where it sits on the surface – and then leaves you to work. Most people finish one piece and start a second before the session is over.

Sessions from the last few seasons – school groups, families, and visitors passing through the village.
Gohar starts by rolling out a slab and showing what clay will and will not do. From there you build: a house with a roof, a bird, a figure in national dress, a tree with birds in the branches.
You start with a sheet, a pencil and a few colours. Gohar teaches the way she paints – the pale washes first, the detail at the end, and no fear of the paper.
Perfect for or children, families, school groups and travellers.
Tell us the date and how many of you are coming – one person, a family, or a full class. Sessions are arranged one at a time, so the table is yours for the visit.
